Ultracare TMX 500D

ULTRACARE TMT Bars are manufactured through state-of-the-art technology.
Iron ore is mixed with coal in a pre-determined ratio and burnt at extremely high
temperature. The high temperature process converts it into sponge iron.
Now Sponge is melted in Furnace and other additives are added to get desired
chemical composition and is manufactured into billet through Continuous caster.
Billet is then cut into 3 meter pieces and sent to Rolling mill. After completing the
rolling process, it is passed through TEMPCORE process, which involves quenching,
tempering & cooling stages. The inner core of the TMT becomes soft and outer
core of the TMT become hardened wherein Tensile strength of the TMT bar
reaches 500 to 600 N/mm2
